3M Dyneon PTFE TF 1750 

It is a non-free-flowing polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) powder produced by suspension polymerization, designed for compression molding applications. It meets the ASTM D 4894 Type II classification. 

PTFE TF 1750 Key Features and Properties

Form: Non-free-flowing powder with very small particle size (average 25 µm).

Processing: Suitable for compression molding, especially for applications like large billets and very thin skived films. It is not suitable for automatic molding due to its non-free-flowing nature.

Mechanical Properties: Provides very good mechanical and electrical properties, low friction behavior, and low deformation under load.

Chemical Properties: Exhibits excellent chemical inertness and stability, with broad chemical resistance.

Thermal Properties: Offers an excellent operating temperature range and good flame retardance (UL 94 V-0 classification). Its melting point is in the range of 320 - 345 °C.

Density: Has a specific gravity of approximately 2.16 g/cm³ and a bulk density of around 380 g/L.

Storage: Has an unlimited shelf life if stored in a clean, dry place. 

PTFE TF 1750 Typical Applications

Common uses for this material include molded parts, cylinders, skived films, sheets, gaskets, and seals. It is also used to make filled PTFE compounds. For safe handling of hot material, use appropriate personal protective equipment.
